Chris is a consultant transplant surgeon at Guy’s Hospital, London, UK, and is also a member of the transplant surgical teams at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. He trained in New Zealand and Cambridge, UK, where he completed a PhD in transplant immunology. Chris is the NHS Blood Transplant Associate Medical Director for Organ Utilisation, and he has clinical and research interests in the use of higher risk deceased donor organs, and in the use of warm machine perfusion in organ transplantation.
